On 28 March at 3:00 p.m., at the Guglielmo Marconi University in Rome, the workshop “Cyber-Space and Artificial Intelligence: Developing Common Resilience to the Hybrid Threat in the Wider Mediterranean” will be held, the third in a series of meetings within the project ‘Integrated European Security: the Mattei Plan in the Wider Mediterranean’, promoted by the Observatory on the Mediterranean of the Institute of Political Studies ‘S. Pio V’ and implemented with the contribution of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The meeting, which will be introduced by Osmed’s Scientific Coordinator, Francesco Anghelone, will be attended by: Mario Caligiuri, Professor at the University of Calabria; Giuseppe Zuffanti, Coordinator for Cyber Issues at ESDC; Stefania Giannetti, member of the ENEA Central Security Board; Selene Giupponi, Managing Director Europe-Resecurity Inc.; Bruno Frattasi, Director General of the National Cybersecurity Agency. The institutional greetings will be given by the President of the G. Marconi University, Alessio Acomanni.
The workshop, moderated by Claudio Lisi (Cyber Security Manager – Blue Team Securnow), will be an opportunity for an in-depth reflection on the growing role of artificial intelligence and cyber-security among global challenges, also in a complex and dynamic context such as the enlarged Mediterranean, in which Italy must play its cards.
